Anticipating....2011.
I am not a writer, and I don't think I will ever be one, but one thing I do know when I am in the mood I love to express my thoughts. The truth, I don't feel bad about my lack of blogging, it has been months since my last post and I have just gotten to urge to attempt it again.
2011 so far has been an interesting year for me, I have taken the bold step to start my own business along with a very good friend. So far it has been challenging but I have learnt some valuable life lessons in the short time we have decided to make this bold move. I have come to realise that your destiny lies within you and you have to give birth to that reality and then nurture it to maturity. This is going to take faith, dedication and commitment. I hear hard work is also a part of the formula, but I want to eliminate that part of it. Working on it, I want to work smarter not harder.
I am hoping this will be a defining moment in my life, apart from the birth of my two beautiful girls, I really cannot identify any thing thus far which I have found to be life altering. Well if you consider falling in love life altering, I have been in love, still is. Maybe its just my outlook on life and my determination to fight the odds and the ability to play the cards life has given me the best way I can. There has really been nothing that I can pinpoint which has redirected my thoughts or actions. My experiences thus far has helped to shape the person I am today; but to pinpoint an event and say this is where I became a better person, I just cannot do it. Now there have been points in my life that I can point out as being important but were they life altering moments? I just don't think so!!
Well I think I will try and write again later this week. I am now off to do some work,as they say "The heights where great men reach and keep were not attained by sudden flight, but they while their companion slept were toiling upward in the night. "

Hey Doreen, I love this! I think you are an excellent blogger! Well better than me when I just started last year. Because I am a news person, I used to blog about news events, {{YAWN}} LOL who wants to read a blog about what they saw or read in the newws? LOL
